About this pack

This pack holds 72 drum and bass samples, drums and percussion only. There is no bass, no pads and no melody — just the kit, so the pattern sits under a reese or a sub without competing for the low end.

Sixty run at 174 BPM, nine at 170, two at 172 and one at 165. That is neurofunk tempo, and the material matches it: tight sub-weighted kicks, snares that crack rather than ring, and fast ride and hat detail running across the top. The programming fractures and resets the way the genre does, so patterns roll, stutter and pull rather than repeating a flat two-step.

It splits three ways by length. Fifty-seven are ten-second loops, long enough to carry several bars of continuous playing — take the section you want, chop it, or drop the whole take under an arrangement. Eleven are five-second breaks for turnarounds and transitions. Four are three-second fills. Nothing has been trimmed, faded or levelled: the audio is exactly as it was generated.

Set your project tempo to the number in the sample's name and drag the WAV onto an audio track. In Ableton, warp locks it to the grid and Slice to New MIDI Track puts the hits into a Drum Rack, which is the fastest way to rebuild a break into your own pattern. In FL Studio, open it in Slicex. In Logic, load it into Quick Sampler in slice mode.

The complete download contains 72 WAV files plus a licence and MANIFEST.json. The manifest lists each filename, byte size and SHA-256 checksum. These are AI-generated samples, not recordings of vintage hardware or audio rendered by the UDS-16 plugin.
