Does UDS-16 run on Apple Silicon and Windows 11?
Yes. The macOS build is Universal 2, so it runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs on macOS 11.0 or later, as VST3, AU and Standalone. On Windows there is a signed 64-bit installer for Windows 10 and 11 with VST3 and Standalone.
Does UDS-16 use samples?
No. UDS-16 synthesizes its drum sounds in real time.
Is Tapechild UDS-16 an official Lel or Formanta product?
No. UDS-16 is independently developed by Tapechild and inspired by the Lel UDS and Formanta Rockton. It is not an official reissue or affiliated with the original manufacturers.
